Your first visit

Three steps to a level

A level check takes about twenty minutes at one of our two pools. A parent or guardian stays for all of it.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Book a time

Choose a level-check time when you register, or call us. Tell us the swimmer's age and which strokes they already swim.

  2. 02

Step 2: Swim for a coach

The coach asks the swimmer to swim freestyle and backstroke, kick breaststroke and push off the wall in a streamline. The coach stays on the deck or in the water beside the swimmer.

  3. 03

Step 3: Leave with a level

The coach suggests a level and the clinics that fit, and shows you which evenings have room. If a swimmer sits between two levels, the coach says why.
